It is incredible how one small idea can grow into something truly special. Girls Empowerment Initiative is rooted in the belief that we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference for women and girls in the San Francisco area. With a variety of active projects and a large volunteer staff, we harness our skills and resources to successfully achieve our goals.

Mission

Our non-profit organization is dedicated to empowering girls through climate change education, greenhouse farming, and digital and financial inclusion. Our mission is to create a sustainable and inclusive future for girls by addressing the pressing issues of climate change, providing opportunities for economic empowerment, and promoting digital literacy.

Vision

Our vision is a world where all girls have access to quality education, are equipped with the tools and knowledge to combat climate change, have equal opportunities in the fields of agriculture and farming, and are empowered through digital and financial inclusion. We envision a future where girls can actively participate in building resilient and sustainable communities, achieve economic independence, and harness the power of technology to drive positive change.

Our Values

Climate Change

Through education and awareness programs, we aim to equip girls with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and combat the challenges posed by climate change. We promote sustainable practices, encourage conservation, and support initiatives that mitigate the adverse effects of climate change on the environment.

Greenhouse Farming

We believe in the potential of greenhouse farming as a sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural practice. We provide training, resources, and support to empower girls to engage in greenhouse farming, enabling them to contribute to food security, environmental conservation, and economic self-reliance.

Digital and Financial Inclusion

We recognize the importance of digital literacy and financial inclusion in today's digital age. We strive to bridge the gender gap in access to technology and financial resources by providing girls with the necessary skills and opportunities to navigate the digital world, access financial services, and become active participants in the global economy.
